The university ID card is the official identification for UT San Antonio's academic campus. It provides access to meal plans, Rowdy Dollars, sporting events, residence halls, final exams and more.
How to Get a University ID Card
Getting your university ID card is quick and convenient!
- Visit Campus Services. We have locations on the Main Campus (MS 1.01.52) and the Downtown Campus (FS 2.424C).
- Bring a government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, military ID, etc.) and your myUTSA ID number when you visit.
- Chat with a member of our customer service team and have your photo taken.
- Leave with your card!
Remember, by accepting your university ID card, you agree to the university ID card policies. To be eligible for a card, you must be registered for at least one course.
Using a Preferred Name
Campus Services will print your legal first and last name on your university ID card unless you have a preferred first name registered with the university. If you have a preferred name, you can learn more about the university’s preferred name policy, then register your preferred name through your myUTSA account.
Once your preferred name request is approved by the university, visit Campus Services to obtain a university ID card with your preferred name. If the card is a replacement, standard replacement charges apply.
My Card Was Lost or Stolen
If your university ID card is ever lost of stolen, be sure to report the card as lost/stolen through the GET™ App, MyUTSACard or in-person at Campus Services.
