As COVID-19 cases continue to surge locally, and we continue preparing for the upcoming semester, we wanted to update you on short-term adjustments we will be making to keep our Roadrunner community safe.
The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) is the largest university in the San Antonio metropolitan region with four campuses across the city. In an interview with Invest:, President Taylor Eighmy discussed the impact of the pandemic, ensuring equity in San Antonio and its educational institutions, key partnerships, strategic initiatives and his outlook for UTSA in San Antonio, the country’s seventh-largest city.
As we continue monitoring local COVID-19 trends, we are eagerly anticipating the return to in-person learning and our many spring semester traditions and experiences. Based on current projections, we will return to regular campus operations on Monday, February 7 as planned. On that day, classes will commence meeting in the teaching modalities originally planned for this semester.
