Alamodome Safety Procedures
Safety procedures will be in place for upcoming Commencement ceremonies at the Alamodome. To ensure the safety of every guest, all persons, including graduates, will be subject to a bag check and a security scan.
All bags will be searched by security officers before visitors are permitted to enter the venue. The Alamodome and UTSA encourage everyone to arrive early and travel light, as you may be subject to search upon entry, which includes metal-detecting hand wands.
We strongly urge all attendees not to bring bags to any of the ceremonies unless they are absolutely necessary. Those visitors bringing bags should expect delays in order to enter the venue. Please plan accordingly. Do not bring any packages that cannot be opened or inspected. Items not permitted into the Alamodome must either be returned to your vehicle or be discarded. In order to expedite the process, please leave any unpermitted items in your vehicle. Staff may not store or hold items for you.

Alamodome Clear Bag Policy
To ensure the safety of every guest, all guests will be subject to a bag check and security scan. The Alamodome has implemented a Clear Bag Policy that limits the size and type of bags permitted for guests (pictured below). Visit Security Procedures for more information on the process.
Posters, Banners, and Signs are Prohibited
Posters and signs are not allowed into the Alamodome. Signs may not be affixed or hung anywhere in the facility.
