Family Weekend

Family Association Dinner - 6:30 - 8:00 pm

Take a stroll through campus to the H-E-B Student Union Ballroom for the Family Association Dinner on Friday evening. Enjoy chatting with your roadrunner, getting to know fellow roadrunner families, and taking in the sound of live music. The chicken breast or Salisbury steak dinner will be $12 per person and free for children 4 and under. Be sure to purchase a ticket for your student.

UTSA Alumni Tailgate - 4:00 pm

Join the Alumni Association at the Hoefgen Lot by the Alamodome to experience the new FOREVER ROWDY TAILGATE. Enjoy food, drinks, and family-friendly activities - carnival style, which means entry into the tailgate area is FREE for everyone. Coupons will be available to purchase for enjoying food and drinks from various vendors, including La Gloria and our famous Alumni Grill Team. Special appearances from the Spirit of San Antonio (SOSA), Rowdy the Roadrunner, and UTSA Cheer and we willl be celebrating Hispanic Heritage with a showcase performance by UTSA's Mariachi Los Paisanos and ballet folklorico.

Student Indoor Tailgate with the Family Association - 6:00 pm

Wear your UTSA best and relax in the 72-degree temperature of the Alamodome for Indoor Tailgate. Located in the Field Level Multipurpose Room, this Saturday. The pre-game event will have free food and beverages available, while it lasts.

UTSA vs. UAB - 7:00 pm kickoff

Sit as a family in the student section and cheer on the Roadrunners at the UTSA Football game on Saturday. Discounted rate tickets will be on sale as we get closer to the game. Check out Via Park & Ride Special Event Service for convenient and affordable transportation.
