Supporting Your Wellbeing This Fall
The following email was sent to all faculty and staff on Sept. 30, 2026, from Amy Tawney, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer.
Supporting the health and wellbeing of our faculty and staff remains a top priority. As part of that commitment, we are sharing updates and reminders about programs, services and resources available to academic campus employees. We encourage you to explore the opportunities below and take advantage of the resources that best support your personal and professional wellbeing.
Crisis and Wellbeing Support
If you or someone you know is in distress, dial 988 to reach the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline , which provides 24/7 confidential support.
The AllOne Health Employee Assistance Program offers confidential, no-cost support for benefits-eligible employees, as well as household members and dependents. This includes mental health support, financial consultations, work/life balance and much more. Visit the Employee Assistance Program web page for more details.
In addition to the EAP, employees can access a variety of mental health and wellness resources, such as MDLIVE, Headway and more. Many services offer no-copay virtual care through UT SELECT, making support easily accessible.
Free confidential on-campus counseling is also available at the Main and Downtown campuses for academic campus faculty and staff. These confidential sessions offer a convenient opportunity to connect with a licensed counselor and are designed for short-term, solution-focused support.
For students, counseling and other mental health and wellbeing resources are available from Wellbeing Services. If you know a student in need of assistance, please ensure they are aware of these resources.
Annual Wellness Fair and Vaccination Clinics
The second annual employee Wellness Fair will take place Thursday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the H-E-B Student Union Ballroom on the Main Campus. The fair provides faculty and staff the opportunity to explore a variety of wellness resources. The event will feature wellness vendors, therapy dogs, interactive booths and a vaccination clinic offered in partnership with H-E-B. Additionally, the Christus Santa Rosa Mammogram Bus will be on site for prescheduled appointments.
Employee Success Center
