Volleyball/Basketball Training Facility

The Volleyball and Basketball Training Facility (VBTF) will house the daily operations of the men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball programs.

Overview

Located on the Main Campus adjacent to the Roadrunner Athletic Center of Excellence—and in alignment with campus master planning efforts—the VBTF will be grounded within the Athletic District. The synergy of these two buildings will create an opportunity for a shared space for athletes, staff and visitor use.

Recruiting high-caliber student athletes who are equally talented in the classroom as they are on the field or court—is foundational to building a strong athletics program. Offering competitive facilities is key to recruitment. The new VBTF will provide a state-of-the-art facility that supports the UTSA Roadrunner volleyball and basketball teams in their continued growth in the American Athletic Conference.
