FIREWALL UPGRADE:

SATURDAY MAY 29 9am-midnight CDT

 

Update as of 7pm: This work has been extended to midnight tonight. Good progress has been made with the replacement of the UTSA network equipment and firewall but testing is still ongoing.

Update as of 3pm : This work has been extended to 6pm CDT to complete internal testing and bring services back online. 

As part of continuous efforts to ensure the reliability of UTSA’s technology infrastructure, University Technology Solutions will be replacing a key piece of data networking equipment on Saturday, May 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This will disrupt many network services, including telephone, VPN, Wi-Fi and the ability to sign on to most applications.
