Tech Café Services

Tech Café staff provide the following services for current UTSA students, faculty, staff or affiliate member(s):

Network & System Access Support:

  • Guide you through activating your myUTSA ID
  • Provide you with options for resetting your myUTSA ID
  • Help register your smartphone and mobile devices for DUO / Two-factor Authentication
  • Help you with accessing multiple UTSA application services
  • Help you configure your devices to access UTSA’s AirRowdy Wireless networks
  • Help you configure and access your VPN (Virtual Private Networking) on your devices (for Faculty, Staff, and affiliates only)
  • Guide you with options for network printing (Faculty, Staff, Affiliates: Office network printing / Students: PrintSpot Student printing)

Software Application Support:

  • Provide assistance navigating UTSA application services
  • Troubleshoot and ensure UTSA applications are properly configured for use on your computing devices
  • Provide Windows and Mac operating system support

Hardware Support:

  • Troubleshoot UTSA computing device hardware issues for faculty and staff
  • Troubleshoot personal device hardware issues for students
  • Provide diagnostic and malware/virus scans and removal
  • Provide recommendations for computing hardware purchases

Tech Café Learning Sessions:

  • Help with short application tutorials and overview sessions
  • Provide application demo sessions
