![]() Welcome!The UTSA Child Development Center provides child care services for UTSA students, staff, and faculty. The Center is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and accredited by National Association for the Education of Young Children. The Center is a Child Care Delivery Services vendor. About our ProgramThe program is designed to enhance children's emotional, social, creative, physical, language and cognitive development through creative learning experiences in an educational environment. The curriculum emphasizes developmentally appropriate play experiences based on the children's interests and ideas and encourages critical thinking skills. The daily schedule is organized to meet the children's needs for a balance of active- and quite-play, large and small group interactions, and indoor/outdoor activities. Hours of OperationThe hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
EligibilityThe UTSA Parent or Legal Guardian of the Child to be enrolled must be a full-time student, or a staff or faculty member at UTSA 1604/Downtown, Institute of Texan Cultures, or University Oaks/Chisholm Hall.
ToursTours of the Center are available Monday through Friday from 9:30AM to 11:00AM and 2:30PM to 5:00PM or by appointment. A tour is a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to meet teachers and to discuss the Center's policies and procedures.

MissionTo provide a child-centered program for children of UTSA students, faculty, and staff in which parents, teachers, and administrators work together to benefit the whole child through developmentally appropriate programs dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential and develop necessary life skills.
