The Center for Policy Studies’ faculty and staff seek to advance knowledge in these areas and to communicate results of research projects to the city, community, region, state and nation. Goutham Menon, Ph.D, Center Director
The Center houses the Nonprofit Management Program, the American Humanics Program, and the Office of Community and Restorative Justice. The mission of the Nonprofit Management Program is to strengthen the nonprofit community by developing the leadership and management skills of nonprofit professionals. American Humanics is a national alliance of colleges, universities, and nonprofit organizations preparing undergraduates for careers with youth and human service agencies. American Humanics' mission is to prepare and certify future nonprofit professionals to work with America’s youth and families. The Office of Community and Restorative Justice provides outreach to communities and seeks to promote alternative approaches to criminal justice and offender accountability. The Center is the College’s focal point for writing, submitting, and managing research grants on issues concerning public policy issues. |
