My master studies at University of Texas at El Paso primarily focus on virus fate and transport in saturated porous medium. Two major objectives were (1) to understand the behavior of viruses in groundwater under various conditions (various water chemistry, various porous media, various viruses), via lab experiments; (2) to find a feasible reactive barrier against virus migration in groundwater, via both lab and field experiments.
