The Student Information System used by UTSA. Data in Banner can be accessed by report writers like Crystal Reports™. Access to Banner is controlled by the UTSA Office of Information Technology. Banner is a Sungard/SCT™ product.UTSA

New Banner Account

There are two different types of Banner accounts at UTSA: Web for faculty and Banner Web

  • Web for Faculty -- (ASAP)
    • SCT Banner Web for Faculty allows a faculty member to view, update and print selected information in the Banner database using Web technology.  It provides access to a faculty member's schedule, a listing of students in each of the faculty member's courses, curriculum information about their students and the ability to enter mid term and final grades.

ApplicationXtender, WebXtender, ScanXtender

  • The Xtender family of software applications are used to create, access and manage document imaging.
  • ApplicationXtender allows you to add notes or shapes to documents within an application.
  • WebXtender allows the user to manage ApplicationXtender documents via the Internet.
  • ScanXtender is the document scanning module for ApplicationXtender. A user can retrieve, view and process batches with ScanXtender.
  • Please fill out the Student Information System Account Request Form to request Xtender access.
