Dr. Naveen Kella
SURGERY FROM HOME?
The Future of Robotics in Medicine
Tuesday, October 9, 2007
7:15 a.m.
Marriott Northwest Hotel
The
first generation of surgical robots is already being
installed in a number of operating rooms around the
world. These aren't true autonomous robots that can
perform surgical tasks on their own, but they are
lending a mechanical helping hand to surgeons.
Meet a
pioneer in the field of surgical robotics right here
in San Antonio!
Dr.
Kella completes 25 or more robotic procedures
each
month
and is one of the nation's most experienced robotic
surgeons. Patients from all over the world have traveled to San Antonio
seeking Dr. Kella's expertise in performing this
procedure.
Dr. Kella will
share film footage of the next generation robotics
in action.
