Attendance at today's game"The nationally televised basketball game today at the Convocation
Center represents a unique opportunity to showcase UTSA," said UTSA
Provost and Executive Vice President Guy Bailey. "If employees would
like to attend the game, we can consider their attendance as service to
the institution, at their manager's discretion. However, all offices must
remain open for business." Non-students must pay for tickets, due to SLC rules. Reserved seats are $10 and general admission seats are $7. UTSA student tickets are free with UTSACard. Show your Roadrunner spirit at 2 p.m. tailgate partyThe UTSA community is invited to show its Roadrunner spirit at a Blue-and-Orange Tailgate Party at 2 p.m., Friday, March 12 at the Sombrilla Plaza, 1604 Campus. Sponsored by the Office of Financial Aid and the Office of Student Affairs, the event will feature free hot dogs, chips and soda. Come show your Roadrunner spirit! The Roadrunners host Stephen F. Austin at 3:30 p.m. today at the Convocation Center in a game to be televised nationally on ESPN2.
Materials management office to sponsor March 17 vendor fairThe Office of Materials Management and Procard Compliance will host Vendor Fair 2004 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 17 in the University Center Laurel Room (2.01.28) at the 1604 Campus. The fair includes door prizes and is free and open to UTSA faculty, staff and students. The fair is held annually to familiarize the UTSA community with caterers and area firms selling office, scientific, industrial and computer technology supplies.
