Clarification: Nominations needed for UT System insurance committee

The nomination deadline is Thursday, Aug. 10. After nominations are submitted, a link will be provided to vote for a candidate. Voting will end Aug. 20.

Nominations are needed for a new member to represent UTSA in the UT System-wide Insurance Advisory Committee. The person elected to this position will assist in discussion and decision making regarding group insurance policies and coverage. The elected member and an appointed member from each UT System institution will attend an annual committee meeting in Austin each April. However, meetings may be held more often if needed. Transportation costs to attend Austin meetings will be reimbursed. The elected member also serves as chair of the UTSA Employee Insurance Benefits Standing Committee, which communicates suggestions concerning employee insurance benefits to the system-wide committee.

Texas Folklife Festival inventory reduction sale now

UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures is having an inventory reduction sale on Texas Folklife Festival souvenir items. Sale items include youth and adult t-shirts, canvas totes, note cards, pillow cases, paper weights and buttons. Download an order form and send orders by campus mail to Laura Fuentes, ITC Business Office. Payment must accompany orders. See the order form for details. The order form includes a list of sale items with descriptions and quantities available.
