UTSA maintains 8-to-5 schedule for summerTo provide essential services during the summer, all university offices must be open, fully functional and staffed during regular business hours, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Department supervisors may approve "flex" schedules for employees with approval from their dean, vice provost or vice president and as long as all offices are sufficiently staffed and fully operational during regular business hours. For more information regarding flexible work schedules, refer to Chapter 4.29 of the Handbook of Operating Procedures or contact Human Resources at 458-7891.

Be a volunteer at Texas Folklife Festival alumni boothThe UTSA Alumni Association will host the Beers Around the World and the Taste Texas Wines booths at the Texas Folklife Festival, June 7-10, and volunteers are needed to staff the booths. UTSA Athletics kicks off summer camps in JuneIf you are searching for affordable summer fun for the kids, don't look any further than the 1604 Campus. The UTSA Athletics Department will offer 27 camps in eight sports beginning the first week of June. UTSA offers summer camps in baseball, basketball, softball, soccer, tennis and volleyball. Boys and girls ages 5-18 can spend their summer days learning valuable lessons in achievement, teamwork, friendship and physical fitness from UTSA’s coaching staffs. Faculty and staff receive bookstore discountUTSA faculty and staff members receive a 10 percent discount on books and a 20 percent discount on clothing and gift items at the UTSA Bookstore on the 1604 and Downtown campuses. The discounts apply to personal and departmental purchases. When making a personal purchase, just show your UTSACard.
