Diversity awareness class offered at 1604 and Downtown campusesA new, free class offered by the UTSA Office of Institutional Diversity will focus on respect and awareness of differences in the workplace. "Diversity Awareness: M.E.E.T. on Common Ground" will be offered twice this summer: 10 a.m.-noon, June 12 at the Downtown Campus and 10 a.m.-noon, July 24 at the 1604 Campus (sign up for one class only). Register for the class at the TXClass link at the Training and Development More information: Diane Pina, (210) 458-4153 To comply with requirements for processing purchase orders for the end of fiscal year 2006-2007, new purchase orders for fiscal year 2007-2008 and purchase orders for contract renewals expiring Aug. 31, a timeline has been established for submitting purchase requests to the Purchasing Office. View the timeline at the Purchasing Office Web site. Also, it is time to process requests for renewal of equipment maintenance agreements, software licenses and professional service contracts expiring Aug. 31. If your department requires renewals on these items, submit an electronic purchase request (PB4) to the Purchasing Office. Fiscal year 2007-2008 electronic purchase requests will be accepted now. To identify contracts you want to renew, view a list of maintenance contracts from last year at the Purchasing Office Web site.
