Sign up for class on new stipend payment process

The Office of Disbursements has created an automation process for stipend payments. If you are interested in moving from a manual process to an automated process, sign up for one of the two training classes offered at 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 3. Sign up for course AM 550 at the HR Training Web site.

Those involved in completing Notice of Awards, the Doctoral Payment Request, creating electronic documents in Define and those that final-approve these documents will want to attend this training. The course is required for those who manage these processes. On course completion, participants will be able to select stipend recipients and approve payments in ASAP, thereby eliminating the creation of VP2 and VP3 documents at the departmental level.
