Purchasing's Robin Davis Honored for President's Holiday Card
Robin Davis, procurement specialist I, answered the call for Roadrunner artist designs for UTSA’s 2019 President’s Holiday Card. Davis’ original artwork captured the spirit of UTSA and the holiday season. She received an Honorable Mention from the judges for her unique and eye-catching entry.
Davis was inspired by a series of photos from “Light up the Paseo,” an annual event hosted by the university that she felt perfectly embodied UTSA and became the basis of her holiday card design. She created a contrast with the fireworks, which added a pop of color and aesthetic appeal. Davis’ spent her childhood and adult life drawing, painting and creating art. Growing up, she entered many contests to showcase her artistic talent to different judges and the public.
