Areas of research focus include:
- Cyber security in the commercialization of leading-edge security and privacy innovations;
- Nanotechnology especially for use in optics and in cancer treatments;
- Neuroscience with subjects such as the aging brain and Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis;
- Infectious diseases that have long plagued humanity and those that are currently classified as potential bio-weapons.
