Biology Biology conducts research in a wide variety of areas including two of the college's focus areas of neurosciences and infectious disease. The largest department in number of faculty members and students, biology accounts for 25 percent of the College’s funding. Degrees offered: BS in biology, BS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences (joint with the UT Health Science Center), MS in biology, MS in biotechnology, PhD in Biology with emphasis in either cell and molecular biology or neurobiology.
