UTeach
The College of Sciences recognizes and embraces the importance of high-quality instruction in the fields of math and science for students of all ages in our public schools. Partnering with the College of Education and Human Development, the college offers the UTeach Program for students interested in pursuing careers in math and science education.
The UTeach Program is specifically designed to increase the number of students pursuing careers in education, and to prepare those students for teaching. UTeach uses hands-on training with qualified, experienced teachers as mentors in local schools.
Participants in UTeach will
- Engage in early and continuous field experience
- Partner with master teachers in area campuses
- Access multiple UTeach scholarships
