Application of Nanotechnology in Translational Biomedical Research to Advance Medical Diagnostics and Therapeutic Solutions
Research focuses on (1) lab-on-a-chip nanosensor system for point-of-care disease diagnosis/prognosis, (2) nanoparticles fabrication, characterization, and innovative applications for nanophotonics, medical imaging, controlled drug delivery, and photothermal therapy, and (3) multidisciplinary approach of nano-biotechnology, biomolecular engineering, surface chemistry, cellular engineering to study nanomaterials-tissue/cell interaction.
