Record Your Service Log on Instructions (PowerPoint)

Go to: http://www.presidentialserviceawards.gov/s/ut
Scroll Down to "UTSA" and Click on "Click here" link.
Register Page
Enter the information required:
Step 1: Create Username and Place a Check Mark next to "Are you 14 years of age or older?"
Step 2: Create Password (Password must be at least 6 characters)
Step 3: Enter Your First Name, Last Name and Age (All Optional)
Step 4: Select UT Volunteer Type: Student, Faculty or Staff/Administration
Step 5: Click on the red box "Create My Record of Service" to start your volunteer time and experiences. (It takes you to the Volunteer Homepage)
Volunteer Homepage
- Click on "My Service" to begin entering volunteer hours.

- Click on "Create New Record" after the brief paragraph on the left to create a new record service.
Create a New Service Activity Page
- Complete all required fields and others as appropriate.
- Please note: If you volunteer on a regular bases you can choose "Yes" to "Make this a recurring activity." The "Activity Recurrence" should appear. Please be sure to enter the correct recurrence pattern, or your hours could be calculated incorrectly.
- Click on the red box, "Add this Activity" when you are finished entering your service.
My Volunteer Record Page - "MY SERVICE" Tab
- Click on "My Awards" to continue.
- The recurring event is broken down individually.
- You can also download your service into Excel.
My Award Status Page - "MY AWARDS" Tab
- You are able to view your status on how close you are to receiving a Presidential Service Award.
- The UTSA External Affairs will certify your hours as you enter them and issue an award once you complete the required number of hours.
- You also have the option to set your personal goals"
