New Student Send-Offs
Receptions New Student Send-Offs are held at different cities across Texas in conjunction with the UTSA Admissions Office, Alumni Programs and the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs, to introduce prospective Roadrunners to our UTSA Alumni and Family Association members. Receptions create connections and friendships among prospective Roadrunners and develop a network for parents. Families of students are welcome to attend or host receptions in their areas. Family of the Year
One of the highlights of Family Weekend is the recognition of the Family of the Year. Nominations are received at the beginning of the semester. This award recognizes a family’s UTSA spirit and overall support of its student. The Family of the Year receives tickets to the UTSA football game, is recognized at a several Family Weekend events, and receives a UTSA gift basket.
