Overview

The University Career Center at UTSA offers several valuable services of interest to UTSA pre-health professional students. Students are strongly encouraged to consult with their career counselor throughout their academic career.

Services of interest to the aspiring health professional include:

  • Interview Preparation: walk through all the stages of the interview process from program research to follow up
  • Mock Interviews: conduct mock interviews in a realistic setting to help prepare for real health professions interviews
  • Personal Statement Reviews: read and critique personal statements; make suggestions for content improvement
  • Career Closet: opportunity for students to rent a professional business suit (men and women) for a formal interview
