Joint Admission Medical Program (JAMP)
Overview & Eligibility
Students interested in this unique opportunity to pursue medical school should consult the JAMP website for detailed information. Entering freshman interested in JAMP should contact the University Health Professions Office at UTSA. The JAMP Faculty Director will work with each student to determine academic and financial eligibility for the program and guide students in course selection as well as the process and deadline for applying to JAMP.

Students must meet financial aid requirements as outlined on the JAMP website. In addition, upon entering UTSA after graduation from high school, students must complete 27 credit hours of course work; this must include math and basic sciences, as well as the core curriculum. Three (3) credits of Advanced Placement coursework from high school can count toward completion of the 27 credits. No dual credit coursework can be applied toward fulfillment of the 27 credit hours.
