UTSA Honors College

Eligibility

Admission to the Honors Program is competitive and based on GPA, ACT or SAT scores, an essay, and recommendations. Students entering directly from high school should meet one or more of the following requirements:

Graduation in the top 20%
SAT M+V = 1100
ACT of 24

The Honors Program also accepts transfer students and students who wish to enroll after a semester or more at UTSA. Such students are eligible to apply if they have a GPA of 3.3 or better.
