Summary of Changes
UT SELECT:
- Plan costs continue to increase about 10%. Participants will see a 5.5% increase in UT SELECT rates.
The 4.5% difference in the rate increase and cost increase will be paid from the contingency reserve.
- There will be no changes in co-payments, coinsurance or deductibles
- Benefits added for smoking cessation programs and discount hearing aids.
HMO BLUE:
- This will be the last year we will continue to offer the HMO Blue plan.
- The rates reflected on the rate chart represent substantial rate increases.
- ALL HMO participants must re-elect this benefit if they wish to continue their HMO coverage.
UT DENTAL SELECT:
- No changes to the premium or plan design
Assurant Dental HMO:
- A slight decrease in premiums.
Superior Vision:
- No changes to the premiums.
Fort Dearborn Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment:
- No changes to the premiums or benefits.
The Hartford Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability:
- No changes to the Hartford premiums or STD/LTDbenefits.
CNA Long Term Care:
- No changes to the premium or benefits.
