University Security Sensitive Positions

The UT System Policy UTS124 - Criminal Background Checks for Security-Sensitive Positions and the UTSA HOP Policy 4.30 contain the guidelines and criteria that relate to security sensitive positions. The President of The University of Texas at San Antonio has determined that all jobs at UTSA are security sensitive.

Process

The Criminal Background Check process is an integral part of the hiring and the reclassification processes. In addition, it may, in certain circumstances apply to other processes based on management discretion.
