What is an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)?

Services provided by the EAP are a benefit to UTSA employees and are offered at no charge. An EAP provides confidential, professional assistance to help employees and members of their households resolve problems that affect their personal lives or job performance. The EAP specializes in helping people identify their problems, offer guidance, and locate resources when necessary.

Your calls and visits to the EAP are strictly confidential. It is designed to allow employees and their family members to seek help when needed.

Regular, benefits-eligible UTSA employees and their dependents are eligible to receive up to 8 free counseling sessions per year.

How do I schedule an appointment?

For convenience and privacy, your appointment may be scheduled at one of the six convenient neighborhood off-campus offices.
