POSTING HAS CLOSED
Step 1.
Hiring Manager reviews the individual applications that were referred and when the review is completed, change the applicant's status in STARS to REVIEWED. This action records the fact that the review took place. ALL applicants must be in a REVIEWED status before you proceed with the selection process.
During the initial review process, you will most likely place each applicant in one of three categories:
Step 2.
Interview the applicants of your choice. When the interviews are completed, change the status in STARS for those applicants who won't be considered further to ‘Not Hired'.
At this point, the remaining applicants should represent the finalists so change the status on those applicants to FINALISTS. You can also rank the finalists, e.g. 1,2, 3 by using the ‘Rank' field on the Change Status screen. Select your reason for selecting this individual from the drop down box. You are now ready to create the Hiring Proposal (HP).
Prepare your HP (Hiring Proposal) by clicking on the Hiring Proposal tab in the blue bar across the top. Remember the CBC (criminal background check should be completed).
Select your top candidates name from the drop down box and enter all required information. Submit HP up your management approval chain via STARS.
