Summary
|
· Function: To provide supervision and assistance for physical education and
athletic facilities. · Scope: Responsible for providing routine supervision for athletic
and educational facilities during hours of educational programming and campus
special events. |
Duties
|
· Typical: 1.
Maintains order and prepares gymnasiums for daily use. Enforces rules and regulations for facility use. 2.
Exercises limited authority by making independent decisions concerning facility
use and reservations. Settles problems or disputes regarding facility use. 3.
Maintains physical education equipment
room. Oversees use, issuance,
storage, maintenance and repair of equipment. Performs inventory and recommends
purchases. Maintains
equipment room files, records, and tools. 4.
Answers questions and disseminates information regarding facility
usage. Posts
schedules and class locations. 5.
Collects membership fees. Prepares reports for
collection. 6.
Performs general cleaning and maintenance
of facilities. Inspects
facilities for damage and safety. 7.
Assists in the preparation of work orders
for athletic events and facilities repair and maintenance. 8.
Prepare athletic venues for Division I competitions as part of the game
management crew and for special events. 9.
Oversees laundry room operations. 10. Performs
other duties as assigned. · Periodic: 1. Assists
in training new personnel. 2. Settles
disputes or problems of a minor nature. |
