Summary
|
· Function: To provide advanced professional knowledge, advice and counseling
skills regarding the institutional student admission and recruitment process. · Scope: Responsible for the recruitment of undergraduate students, including
activities that will generate prospects, applicants, and enrollees. |
Duties
|
· Typical: 1.
Develops, implements and
maintains strategies of the admissions plan. 2.
Coordinates, organizes and participates in programs, events and other
recruitment opportunities both on and off campus. 3.
Manages and coordinates visitor activities and events. 4.
Develops and nurtures relationships with influential contacts for the
purpose of recruiting freshman and transfer enrollees. 5.
Provides information to prospective
students and parents on specific educational opportunities of the University,
both on and off the campus. Counsels students and parents
on admission requirements and financial aid processes. 6.
Provides preliminary academic advising,
transcript evaluations and admissions counseling to prospective transfer
students. 7.
Develops and implements effective communication processes with
prospective students, applicants and parents. 8.
Oversees the Telecounseling
Program for Undergraduate Recruitment. 9.
Performs other duties as assigned. · Periodic: 1. Maintains websites that support
admissions activities. 2. Creates newsletters and
brochures. |
