Summary

 

·  Function:   To provide advanced clerical support for the performance of a variety of admission tasks.

 

·  Scope:      Responsible for assisting in the professional performance of routine admission duties including a variety of clerical assignments.

 

Duties

 

·  Typical:

1.      Reviews incoming documents to determine completeness of admission files.  Enters information into admissions database.  Uses standardized form to notify applicants of incomplete admissions files.

2.      Greets visitors, answers inquiries and assists in the admission process.

3.      Distributes outgoing and incoming material on a daily basis. Assists in the pick-up, sorting and delivering of U.S. and inter-campus mail.

4.      Collects application fees and submits deposit transmittal forms.

5.      Schedules tours and activities for new and prospective students.  Prepares monthly activity reports.

6.      Performs other duties as assigned.
