Summary
|
· Function: To provide professional skills to prepare, select, classify, and
evaluate audio-visual teaching materials and to perform research in the field
of audio-visual communications. · Scope: Responsible for assisting in organizing, conducting and
participating in programs and for assisting in the design and preparation of
audio-visual teaching materials. |
Duties
|
· Typical: 1. Plans and develops
various phases of audio-visual instruction programs. Conducts orientation
courses and conducts in-service teacher education workshops. 2. Delivers equipment to
classrooms and special events, ensuring proper handling, set-up and use. Trains faculty and staff on equipment use. 3. Adjusts, repairs and
cleans equipment. 4. Designs and maintains
websites and bulletin boards. Creates
forms, graphics and multimedia pieces for web use. 5. Adds requests and
maintains office database for the department website. 6. Performs other duties as
assigned. · Periodic: 1. Consults with faculty and staff members concerning
special projects and equipment. |
