Reports To: Associate Dean of the College of Liberal and Fine Arts

Summary

· Function: To provide the skills to prepare, select, classify, and evaluate audio-visual teaching materials.

· Scope: Responsible for promoting, arranging, and conducting training programs and for assisting in the design and preparation of audio-visual teaching materials.

Duties

· Typical:

1. Plans and develops various phases of audio-visual instruction programs. Conducts orientation courses and conducts in-service teacher education workshops.

2. Installs new equipment and provides basic support.

3. Oversee arrangement of laboratories for use of teaching materials. Schedules lab usage and maintains equipment and security.

4. Administer tests in a laboratory environment. Provide record keeping as necessary.

5. Maintain inventory of materials and equipment.

6. Designs and maintains website and bulletin board.

7. Perform other duties as assigned.

· Periodic:

1. Consult with faculty and staff members concerning special projects and equipment.

Education

Required	Preferred
Completion of two years of college, including courses in audio-visual education.	Bachelor's degree with courses in audio-visual education.

Criminal Background Check (CBC)

Certification in network management, web page design, A+ or MSCE.

Experience

Required	Preferred
One year of experience in the use of audio-visual equipment.	Two or more years of similar experience.
