Summary
|
· Function: Responsible for management of the fiscal and administrative operations of the
Office of Information Technology (OIT) and its six component
departments. Identifies appropriate
internal controls for OIT and provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce
compliance. · Scope: Responsible for planning, administering, and
managing the business and other clerical activities for the area, including
overseeing functions possessing a University-wide scope. |
Duties
|
· Typical: 1. Manage all finances and administrative operations of OIT division. 2. Prepare budgets, BDLs, monitor expenses and reconcile special departmental accounts. 3. Supervise all technology purchasing, including vendor research, pricing and preparation of purchase requisitions. 4. Work w/ CIO & AVPIT and six directors to identify sources of funds for special projects. 5. Supervise administrative office staff. 6.
Participate in the development, preparation and
submission of various OIT strategic and operational planning documents,
reports, and surveys for 7. Identify appropriate internal controls and provide mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance. 8.
