| Course Description | Bloodborne pathogens training is mandated for all personnel who are potentially exposed to a bloodborne pathogen during the course of their work duties. Training is mandated to be taken within thirty days of hire and on a yearly basis. This class is mandatory for personnel who work with infectious microorganisms in the laboratory including blood and blood tissues; clinical personnel who diagnose or treat persons (nurses, athletic trainers), or personnel involved in emergency response and/or blood spill cleanup (custodial staff, police, and environmental safety). | ||||
