Course Description Difficult Discussions provides participants with the tools to confidently address potentially sensitive issues with others. The course provides a step-by-step process for preparing yourself and creating a safe environment where both parties feel comfortable having the discussion. The techniques used focus on recognizing, addressing and resolving differences. The overall outcome for the CPR Model is to generate a solution that works for both parties (win/win) while building/contributing to a positive relationship.

Objectives
Participants will be able to identify the factors that make a discussion difficult, use the CPR process to prepare and facilitate a Difficult Discussion utilizing the resources and worksheets provided. Participants will also learn to promote/create an environment seeking mutual understanding.
