Project Title:  3D Stratigraphic Framework Modeling and Visualization of the Denver Basin Aquifer System (DBAS)

Project Summary:   This project began in 2004 and focused on compiling ground-water and oil well data into an Access database, building an ArcGIS geodatabase of critical spatial data, and modeling the stratigraphic architecture of the DBAS in 3D using EarthVision. 2005 tasks added hydrologic data and complexity into the model and used the stratigraphic framework model as a base for applying analytical solutions to well hydraulics equations to characterize the hydrology of the DBAS.
