The Common Reading Experience
The Common Reading Experience is a shared academic and social experience for all LC students.
Goals of the Common Reading Experience:
- To encourage intellectual discussions in some of the
following areas: diversity, leadership, self exploration, and social
perceptions.
- To provide a framework for students to connect to their
experiences as a college student while creating a community in and
outside the classroom.
- To strengthen reading, writing and critical thinking skills.
