How Does This Affect Me?
Faculty and Staff

All end-of-semester course evaluations will now be conducted online.

At the end of the semester, students will receive one e-mail for every course. This e-mail will contain a link to the online course evaluation.

The new evaluation is now shorter (15 questions instead of 40+) and can be done from the convenience of home.
Faculty will receive results faster than the previous paper-based system.

Timeline
July 30, 2010
Online Course Evaluation project launched on July 30, 2010, with students in the Summer 10-week and second 5-week sessions completing evaluations online.
Beginning with the Fall 2010 semester, all end-of-semester course evaluations will be conducted completely online.
Changes That Will Affect the UTSA Community
The paper-based IDEA Survey has been replaced by the new online course evaluation system.
Each college now has the capability of customizing 11 of the 15 questions on the survey.
Putting evaluations online is also paving the way for putting the results online.
