Special events are activities hosted by the university that are of a non-academic nature. These events include technology and support services for meetings, performances, presentations and athletic activities.

Our services are available to university personnel, student organizations and university co-sponsored external organizations.

How to request equipment and services for your event:

Equipment at the University Center:

Any technology for events at the University Center must be requested through the University Center at (210) 458-4732.

Student Organizations:

Student Organizations are allowed to request services from Academic Technology with approval by their advisors.

It is encouraged that students utilize the University Center for events as the University Center is intended specifically for student use.

Academic Technology supports:

• Commencement and/or other graduations

• Dedication and/or opening ceremonies

• Special guest presentations and lectures

• Contests and competitions

• Executive and council meetings

• Group events
