Thank you for your interest in the UTSA Chapter of The Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS).

There are no racial restrictioins to our organization and we strongly encourage anybody, of any people group or nation of origin, to join our student organization! There is no cost locallytto become a member of the UTSA SACNAS student chapter. However, it is necessary to join the National SACNAS organization. Student membership for the SACNAS National Organizatioin is $25.00/year for students. However, for first year members who want to participate with the local SACNAS chapter, SACNAS has waived the membership fee!

To become a member, follow the procedure, below:

a. Create a SACNAS profile/account through MySACNAS on the national SACNAS website:

National Conference
To be held in Seattle, WA on Oct 11 - 14, 2012.  In 2013, it will be held in San Antonio!.  For more information, click here!
