Graduate
students who are involved in mental-health research or are
planning to pursue this type of research are invited to
participate in the research awards program. Six research awards
of $1,000 will be awarded in January of each year. Applications
are solicited from graduate students in any discipline, and ethnic-minority students are
encouraged to apply. The Advisory Committee will review the
applications and determine awards based on the scientific merit
of the proposal. The awards will be used to support the project
and may help defray related costs including travel, materials,
and participants. Award recipients will be required to submit a
report of their activities to the Program Director along with
their long-range research plans.
