Who:                     UTSA students, faculty, and staff

All UTSA Students, Staff, Faculty are encouraged to wear red on Friday February 2 to recognize heart health month and the need to educate women on their greatest heart risk.

1604 Go Red for Women Luncheon and Health Fair:

 

12-1 p.m.                  Go Red for Women Luncheon (Laurel Room):   

Enjoy a free lunch with speakers, entertainment and door prizes!   Box lunches are being provided by Human Resources and details for registration are below.  Please register early since space is limited to 175 participants.

 

11 a.m. -2 p.m.        Heart Healthy Health Fair (Laurel room and Mesquite Room):

                                    For all men, women, students, faculty and staff at UTSA!

Community Agencies will be present providing massages and free screenings such as glucose (fasting preferred), blood pressure, cholesterol, body fat, foot and spinal.  Information on topics including heart disease, nutrition, and physical activity will also be distributed.  Attendees are encouraged to browse the health fair before or after the luncheon to receive the free services and information.

 

This event is open to all UTSA students, faculty, and staff.  A suggested voluntary luncheon donation of $5 will be collected to raise money for the American Heart Association.
