Thank You

Next week I will be transitioning to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness here at UTSA to coordinate assessment, program review, and related activities for the university. I am so thankful to have worked in Student Affairs at UTSA for the last four and a half years. Thank you for your commitment to constantly improving your programs and services to meet students’ needs. Also, I have seen how you intentionally design your initiatives to promote and support student learning. Your work has been phenomenal, and I know it will continue to be!

The many great colleagues I have worked with in our strategic planning and assessment efforts are a big part of what has made this job so remarkable. To every departmental assessment representative, you are the champions! Thank you for coordinating assessment, whether it was entering results in TracDat or “playing along” with my crazy meeting themes. We could not have accomplished the things we have without you.

Also, thank you to the Assessment Leadership Team, representing the major areas of Student Affairs - some of whom served on the committee that hired me!

In addition, the Annual Report Team has done an awesome job of synthesizing our accomplishments and conveying our unique message each year, and for that I am grateful.
