The UTSA Career Center offers a wide range of resources and events to transition Roadrunners to exciting careers in San Antonio and beyond. We are busy all year (even over the summer) and look forward to helping students throughout this new academic year (check out our schedule of events below).
On August 11th the UTSA University Career Center hosted the Third Annual Career Conference in the H-E-B University Center. Almost 200 seniors, graduate students and alumni registered for the event which featured a full day of presentations, workshops, training and networking focused on achieving career success after graduation.
The day began with a welcome from University Career Center Director Audrey Magnuson, followed by a keynote address on achieving success from UTSA alumnus, entrepreneur and founder of LION Mobile Devon Ryan.
Following the morning general session, attendees participated in their choice of 16 individual career workshops as well as an Etiquette lunch and networking training. The conference concluded with a networking reception attended by numerous San Antonio area business leaders, recruiters and hiring managers.
The Career Conference continues to grow in size, content and popularity, and the University Career Center is already planning for the 2016 Career Conference.
