The University Career Center, University College and Academic Advising are pleased to announce Fall Into Your Major 2016. Fall Into Your Major is a major exploration fair intended to provide students with extensive information on selecting majors and career fields related to specific majors.
This year’s event will be held on Wednesday, October 12th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the HUC Ballroom. Undecided students, freshman and students unsure of their career path or career goals will have the opportunity to speak with University staff and faculty and participate in the following:
For more information on this exciting event visit the UTSA University Career Center website or contact Heidi Sawyer at 210-458-4589.
Please contact Jessica Horace or Toni DeGuire for a departmental consultation to be sure your department is getting the most out of RowdyLink!
The UTSA community can contact Counseling Services at 210-458-4140 for support both during and after office hours. UTSA Counseling Services has offered after-hours on-call services since 2003, utilizing existing staff members. On-call services were previously accessed through UTSA Police Dispatch and so were limited to client crisis/emergency or police consultation.
Going forward, UTSA Counseling Services has contracted with ProtoCall, a leading provider of third-party telephone behavioral services, to provide after office hour counseling services. By contracting with ProtoCall, the entire UTSA Community will have immediate access to a qualified mental health professional 24/7. Protocall professionals are experienced with college student mental health and will have access to UTSA and San Antonio-specific information and resources. ProtoCall will alert UTSA Counseling Services of over-night calls so that staff members can provide timely follow-up.
UTSA departments in need of student employees have an excellent resource in the HireRoadrunners.com website, hosted by the University Career Center.

Posting your on-campus student job position is simple, fast and flexible. To post a job:
Career Center staff can assist in creating new positions or in recruiting eligible students. The University Career Center has other excellent online resources for students and employers.
